Exploring the streets of Lamu Island, the oldest and best-preserved Swahili settlement in East Africa which is still retaining its traditional functions. A significant center for the study of Islamic and Swahili cultures. Characterized with a coastline and old structural buildings with curved wooden doors leading into quiet verandahs and corridors.
