QUEST FOR WATER; Nairobi's GOONS AND WEAKLINGS

Close to half of 5 million Nairobi residents, still, do not have direct access to piped water and have to rely on vendors and illegal connections orchestrated by a group of corrupt city water providers who work with community cartels to unlawfully limit and control water network. This project seeks to explore the daily state of a community trying to access and secure a basic need in a low resource setting under the control of a few individuals who seek personal profits. Photos taken inside Kibera, Kenya’s biggest informal settlement.
